Take advantage of the low-price Saturday pass (€32) or the weekend pass (€62) for an escape into nature. If you’re a keen skier, Les Gets-Morzine is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, a group of 12 ski resorts with over 580km of pistes between France and Switzerland!

Suitable for families, the resort also has a number of ‘fun’ slopes, such as the Indians and Cowboys slope and the Grand Cry area, where children can have fun in a different way.

If you want to discover other disciplines, you can also try your hand at cross-country skiing or snowshoe trekking, allowing you to take time to appreciate the surrounding countryside.

For the more curious, you can also try your hand at “ski Joëring”. Straight from Scandinavia, this activity involves being pulled by a horse along trails through the forest.
