A concert to kick off winter with music

Les Gets resort sets the tone for the season with a festive opening night at the Salle de la Colombière. The band Là-bas revisits Jean-Jacques Goldman’s greatest hits in a live concert that combines emotion, energy and good humour.
It’s the perfect opportunity to rediscover the mountain spirit, share a moment with friends and celebrate the arrival of snow in a friendly atmosphere.

A magical week in the heart of the village

Every winter, the magic of Christmas descends on the village’s illuminated streets! Father Christmas and his elves settle in Les Gets for a week of enchanting entertainment: creative workshops, shows, games and unforgettable encounters.
The highlight of the week is the grand parade on 24 December at 5.30 pm, which will delight young and old alike.

Adrenaline under the stars

Equipped with headlamps, participants in the ‘Gets les Cannes’ race set off up the slopes of Mont Chéry for a night-time ascension combining sport and conviviality. The atmosphere is unique: the silent mountain, the breath of the runners, and the light from the headlamps winding through the snow.

A challenge combining passion and sharing

At the finish line, the athletes gather around a well-deserved glass of mulled wine. This event combines effort, pushing oneself beyond one’s limits and camaraderie, in the pure mountain tradition.

Now in its second year, the Les Gets Winter Trail offers two routes (10 km and 20 km) through forests, ridges and spectacular panoramas. Runners tackle snow-covered terrain in the heart of unspoilt surroundings, combining authenticity with performance.

Sport, endurance and excitement

The event brings together trail running enthusiasts and aficionados in a friendly atmosphere. The effort is combined with the pleasure of the alpine landscapes for an exceptional experience facing Mont Blanc.

A week of laughter at the summit

The comedy festival returns for a new edition full of talent! On stage at the Salle de la Colombière, Cécile Marx, Urbain, Maisie Adam, Pierre Thévenoux, Élodie Arnould, Édouard Deloignon and Alexis Le Rossignol will take turns performing.

The great snow sports show

Every Monday during the February holidays, the snow front lights up for a spectacular show organised by ESF Les Gets and the resort services: freestyle demonstrations, torchlight descent, snow groomer ballets and a final fireworks display.

Every year, this free event attracts families, holidaymakers and curious onlookers for an evening where skiing becomes a spectacle. Come and enjoy the thrill of the mountains!

A week to discover skiing in a different way

Aimed at adult beginners, the 1st Ski Festival combines group lessons, technical workshops, social evenings and concerts in the resort. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn to ski in a friendly and festive atmosphere.

Learning, fun and sharing

Supervised by passionate professionals, participants discover skiing at their own pace, with laughter, progress and relaxation. A great way to end the season on a high note!

Night-time magic and solidarity

Experience an enchanting spectacle in Les Gets with the traditional torchlight descents, organised by the ESF every Wednesday during the February holidays. This year, the event is taking on a charitable dimension by supporting the Enfance et Montagne association, which enables disadvantaged children to discover the joys of the mountains. At nightfall, the slopes are illuminated by a river of light, creating a magical moment crowned by a glass of wine or hot chocolate offered at the foot of the slopes.

Alta Lumina is a magical experience that immerses visitors in a fantastical world and offers them a unique adventure unlike any other in Europe. In the heart of the forest at nightfall, visitors walk along a kilometre-long illuminated path with a series of scenes, where the story of the music peddler linked to the DNA of the region is poetically suggested through light, sound, images in all their forms, scenography and interactivity.

This concept, ideal for all ages, is part of the resort’s diversification strategy, with opening hours covering almost the entire year.

Enjoy a unique experience in Les Gets with our Les Perrières four-season toboggan run, a flagship attraction that combines thrills with exceptional views. Covering a distance of 1,100 metres with a 104-metre drop, this run promises unforgettable moments for one or two people, whether you’re a speed lover or looking for a more leisurely ride.

The more daring can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h in the banked turns, while those who prefer a more leisurely pace can control their descent and enjoy the scenery.

Top tip: Enjoy a full day at Les Perrières by combining your sledge session with the adjacent trampolines and a gourmet break at the nearby snack bar.

The balcony overlooking Mont Blanc

Treat yourself to a moment of wonder at the summit of Mont Chéry, accessible by cable car from the village of Les Gets. This natural viewpoint offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Mont Blanc range and the Aiguilles de Chamonix.

Top tip: Extend the experience with a scenic walk to Mont-Caly, where a hamlet of alpine chalets awaits you in a picture-postcard setting.

In this age of digital technology, perforated paper is holding its own!

The Musée de la Musique Mécanique des Gets (Museum of Mechanical Music in Les Gets) houses a rare cultural heritage that is unique in Europe. Nearly 900 working instruments, some dating back to the 17th century, amaze more than 35,000 visitors every year. This iconic venue is the second most visited museum in Haute-Savoie.

Among the highlights are the Aeolian philharmonic organ, classified as a Historic Monument, Roger & Gallet’s automatons, a commemorative carillon from 1860, and an old merry-go-round with its Limonaire organ from 1871. The museum has just acquired a 52-key Limonaire Jazzbandophone and will unveil Pablo Picasso’s newly restored mechanical piano in the summer of 2025.
