Ski and snowboard

An exceptional ski area

The Les Gets/Morzine ski area offers an extraordinary playground for ski enthusiasts. With 74 varied runs and 50 state-of-the-art lifts, there’s something for every level. From peaceful green runs to technical blacks and a renowned snowpark, there’s something for every skier and snowboarder. All with breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and the Dents du Midi.

Something for everyone

Beginners and families will particularly appreciate the P’tite Glisse ski pass. This special pass gives access to 13 runs and 12 lifts perfectly suited to learning and gentle progress. For the more experienced, the Portes du Soleil ski area, of which Les Gets is a part, offers 600 km of pistes to explore, linking 12 Franco-Swiss resorts for a borderless skiing experience.

New covered carpet at Les Chavannes

This winter, a new covered conveyor will be inaugurated on the Plateau des Chavannes, in the Mappys beginners’ area. To better meet the needs of beginner skiers, the old conveyor has been extended by twenty meters, reaching a total length of 102 meters and a capacity of up to 1,200 people per hour. The new conveyor is therefore longer and faster, serving a 125-metre green run. Perfect conditions for beginners!

Tip : a special beginners’ pass!

In Les Gets, beginners can also purchase the P’tite Glisse ski pass. This package gives access to 13 runs and 12 lifts. With this package, novices can learn to ski at their own pace, and at an appropriate price.

Alta Lumina

Alta Lumina is a magical experience that plunges visitors into a fantastic world and offers them an immersive adventure that is unique in Europe. In the heart of the forest at nightfall, visitors follow a one-kilometre trail of light through a series of tableaux, where the story of the music peddler, linked to the region’s DNA, is poetically suggested through light, sound, images in all their forms, scenography and interactivity.

This concept, ideal for all ages, is part of the resort’s diversification strategy, and is open virtually all year round. Self-guided tours last between 50 minutes and 1 hour.

Moments insolites aux Gets

In Les Gets, you’ll find the unusual around every corner, in the enchanting corners of the forest and even under the stars. Our resort invites you to enjoy unique experiences that will awaken all your senses and create lasting memories.

Inuit Expérience

A truly unique experience, the Inuit Experience is a private dog-sledding outing in Inuit immersion offered to adults. Departure for this unforgettable outing is at the end of the day, at last light, from Lassarre, high above Les Gets. The Inuit trainees follow the trails at the pace of the dogs, enjoying timeless moments of gliding and admiring the scenery. Halfway along the trail, they pause for a hot drink.

Alongside the dogs and the two mushers, this is a unique opportunity to exchange views and ideas on the specificities of the job, animal welfare and the care given to the 12 dogs. The adventure ends under the stars, equipped with headlamps.

An enchanting course, a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, and plenty of adrenalin. Younger children can also try out the activity in the form of a baptism, comfortably seated in a sled.

De l’après-ski enflammé au Semba

Completely refurbished and opened last autumn in the chalet-hotel La Marmotte★★★★, the atmospheric bar Le Semba offers a host of exciting après-ski events: batchata classes, concerts, karaoke… Ideal for a night out with friends after skiing, Le Semba welcomes holidaymakers and locals alike in an original, colorful and jovial setting.

Mechanical Music Museum

In this age of new technologies, perforated paper is still going strong !

The resort of Les Gets has a priceless cultural heritage, carefully preserved in a place that is unique in Europe: the Mechanical Music Museum! The 900 instruments, some of which date back to the 17th century, are all in working order, much to the delight of the 35,000 visitors every year (it’s the 4th most visited cultural site and 2nd most visited museum in Haute-Savoie). The museum’s prestigious collection includes the Aeolian Philharmonic Organ, listed as a Historic Monument, automata from the famous perfume manufacturer Roger & Gallet, the mechanical carillon marking the 150th anniversary of the annexation of Savoie to France, one of the oldest merry-go-rounds and its Limonaire-built organ dating from 1871…

Last but not least, a unique piece of a 52-key Limonaire Jazzbandophone joined the museum last July. And – an exceptional new addition – Pablo Picasso’s player piano will soon be joining the collection (due to open in July 2025, following its restoration)!

Open all year round. Closed from 1 November to 21 December inclusive.
